Stand Speak Rise Up! is hosted by Her Royal Highness The Grand Duchess of Luxembourg and her Foundation, in cooperation with the Women’s Forum and with the support of the Luxembourg Government. The conference is in partnership with the Dr. Denis Mukwege Foundation and We Are Not Weapons of War.
Sexual violence is a deep-rooted global phenomenon. Women are its most vulnerable and its first victims.
This initiative of the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, will put rape survivors at the heart of the debate and discussion. Her conference, a first of its kind, will give them a voice and platform to tell their stories as well as actively participate in solutions to end this terrible act, bring the offenders to justice and claim reparations for the millions of lives affected by this.
